What aDisappointment!

Initial contact with D&D was everything you could hope for. Knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Throughout the rest of the transaction which took forever, was similarly polite and professional. It was simply in- effectual.
The Viking 45 inch drop in cooktop happens to be the only Product available in the US to replace the 45 inch Jennaire that I removed. Jennaire has since discontinued the product. Viking appears to be second to none as to LACK OF timelines and responsiveness to an order.
The product was to be delivered freight prepaid, and the transaction was paid for upfront weeks before Delivery. When it came time for the product to be shipped, I was notified that my 25504 ZIP Code (not far from Marshall University) was “in the middle of nowhere and they wouldn’t deliver it there“.
When I asked what my options were, I was informed that they could deliver it, but it would cost another $550 or could I provide another ZIP Code for delivery. We are recent transplants from the West Coast and simply do not have a social network that I could tap into. The result was that I finally drove three hours to an acquaintances home to receive the package.
For some obscure reason, Vikings cut out dimensions are slightly different necessitating a rebuild of the center Island where the cooktop was installed.
It’s now a couple of weeks since we received the package and attempted the installation. The unit looks beautiful and when all the dust settles, I think I will be satisfied with it BUT if there had been another option, I would most certainly have taken it.
There are other stocking distributors of the Viking products. Only judging from what their sales department said, they had the product in stock and it was ready to ship and had no objection to shipping to ZIP Code 25504. They were slightly more expensive and yet would have been cheaper in the long run.
I don’t normally write reviews with a scathing nature. In this case, I made an exception.

Feels like a backyard retreat

The rugged rock-like exterior blends beautifully into our deck design. The seating for six is spacious, and the 10 therapy jets deliver smooth and relaxing streams. Heats quickly and hides all the mechanicals underneath. Totally exceeded our expectations.

This massive waterfall made our pool feel like a resort. The roar of that cascade is hypnotizing and the finish looks incredibly lifelike. We chose brown rock and it blends perfectly. Installation needed 3 people, but totally worth it.
