The Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet Shokunin incorporates the time-honored elements of the a traditional Kamado-style barbecue, with innovative new design features for greater cooking flexibility and ease. The grill body depth has been extended to create more gentle, even heat for smoking. The rectangular shape is ideal for cooking with an offset fire, and four strategically placed shutters provide more precise temperature control. This innovative new stainless steel Kamado design makes grilling, roasting, and smoking possible, all on the same grill. The flavor possibilities are endless. A Reinvented Kamado Cooker
- Control the intensity of heat by building your fire on any of three different levels inside the Shokunin. Designed for maximum versatility, the Shokunin offers gentle heat at the lowest level for smoking, moderate heat for roasting on the middle level and intense heat for grilling and searing on the upper level.
- Stretch your charcoal further with the ultra-efficient Shokunin. With two full inches of insulation it holds steady temps even in the coldest weather.
- Manage your cook with precise control using our cross-flow air control system that incorporates four separate vents with laser-etched markings.
