The Drolet Outback Chef Wood-Burning Cookstove brings together the best of Italian engineering and rustic charm, offering a unique cooking experience with radiant heat to enhance your cottage life. Designed for simple use and top-tier food preparation, this cookstove provides not only practical functionality but also a cozy, ambient heat for your space.
With its classic design, the cookstove features a cast-iron top and protective cooktop cover, beautifully complemented by anthracite-enameled steel side panels. The stove’s four doors provide easy access to the fire, ashes, oven (11 3/8"W x 17 3/4"D x 11 3/4"H), stove drawer, and accessories. It’s equipped with a stainless steel oven with an adjustable grill, a stainless steel and vermiculite combustion chamber, and fire viewing oven glass in vitroceramics that includes an integrated thermometer.
This cookstove is as functional as it is beautiful, with robust lever handles, chrome handrails, and a hot air bypass trap to regulate oven heat. While the Outback Chef is designed primarily for cooking, it also generates heat to warm the room, though it doesn’t offer the slow combustion heat of a high-efficiency wood stove.
For optimal installation, be sure to follow the instructions provided in the owner's manual to ensure safe and effective setup.
